Garlic Butter Shrimp & Pasta

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Raw Shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 12 oz. Spaghetti or Thin Linguine
  • 4 tbsp. Unsalted Butter
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • ½ cup Chicken Broth
  • ½ cup Heavy Cream
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 Tbsp. Lemon Juice
  • 1 tsp. Paprika
  • 1 tsp. Italian Seasoning
  • ¼ tsp. Red Pepper Flakes (optional)
  • ½ tsp. Salt
  • ½ tsp. Black Pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. fresh Parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Boil the pasta in salted water until al dente for the perfect pasta dinner and easy weeknight meal. Reserve ½ cup pasta water.
  2. Using a paper towel pat dry the shrimp – leave at room temperature.
  3. In a bowl, season the Shrimp with paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper and toss.
  4. In a skillet sear the shrimp in butter until slightly golden on edges – avoid burning and over cooking! Remove from the pan.
  5. Add garlic, chicken broth, lemon juice, and heavy cream to the skillet and bring to a light boil.
  6. Stir in parmesan and toss the spaghetti into the skillet, adding reserved pasta water if needed to a thick creamy consistency.
  7. Add the shrimp back in and top with parsley, and extra parmesan as desired.
