Filipino Barbecue Marinade
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup vinegar or lemon juice
- 1 can soda (sprite)
- 4 tbsp brown sugar
- 6 cloves minced garlic
- 1 tsp black pepper
Directions
- Mix all ingredients in bowl and use as marinade.
- Marinate your meat for at least 4 hours or overnight for full flavors.
- For the leftover marinade, after you take out the meat, simmer in a pan for few minutes to reduce and use it as basting while you grill.
