Garlic Butter Shrimp & Pasta
Ingredients
- 1 lb. Raw Shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 12 oz. Spaghetti or Thin Linguine
- 4 tbsp. Unsalted Butter
- 4 cloves Garlic, minced
- ½ cup Chicken Broth
- ½ cup Heavy Cream
- ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 Tbsp. Lemon Juice
- 1 tsp. Paprika
- 1 tsp. Italian Seasoning
- ¼ tsp. Red Pepper Flakes (optional)
- ½ tsp. Salt
- ½ tsp. Black Pepper
- 2 Tbsp. fresh Parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Boil the pasta in salted water until al dente for the perfect pasta dinner and easy weeknight meal. Reserve ½ cup pasta water.
- Using a paper towel pat dry the shrimp – leave at room temperature.
- In a bowl, season the Shrimp with paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper and toss.
- In a skillet sear the shrimp in butter until slightly golden on edges – avoid burning and over cooking! Remove from the pan.
- Add garlic, chicken broth, lemon juice, and heavy cream to the skillet and bring to a light boil.
- Stir in parmesan and toss the spaghetti into the skillet, adding reserved pasta water if needed to a thick creamy consistency.
- Add the shrimp back in and top with parsley, and extra parmesan as desired.
