Hot Buttered Cheerios
INGREDIENTS
• Salted butter, sliced (½ cup)
• Cheerios cereal (4 cups)
• Granulated sugar (¼ cup)
• Ground cinnamon (1 tsp)
• Table salt (¼ tsp)
• Pure vanilla extract (¼ tsp)
INSTRUCTIONS
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat; stir in vanilla.
- Add Cheerios, toss and toast 3–5 mins until golden.
- Mix sugar, cinnamon & salt in bowl, then sprinkle over cereal and toss to coat.
- Let cool completely before serving.
- Ask your self “why are they called Hot Buttered Cheerios?”
