Crockpot Navy Bean and Ham Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Navy beans washed and any bad beans picked out
  • 1 Large smoked ham bone
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • 2 Stalks celery chopped
  • ¾ C. Chopped carrots
  • 2 Tbsp. Minced garlic
  • ½ tsp. Pepper
  • 2 Bay leaves
  • 4-5 C. Water

Instructions

  1. Combine all  ingredients in a crockpot.
  2. Set the heat to low and cook for 6-8 hours.
  3. Remove the ham bone and shred the meat.
  4. Add the ham meat back to the Crockpot. Mix and serve.
