- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 12 lasagna noodles, cooked
- 4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (for topping)
DIRECTIONS
- Make the Meat Sauce: In a large skillet, cook the ground beef, sausage, and onion over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in marinara sauce, tomato paste, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
- Simmer on low for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Prepare the Cheese Mixture: In a medium bowl, mix ricotta, cream cheese, sour cream, egg, Parmesan, and parsley until smooth and creamy.
- Assemble the Lasagna: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Spread a thin layer of meat sauce on the bottom. Add a layer of noodles, spread the cheese mixture, spoon over meat sauce, and sprinkle mozzarella. Repeat layers, finishing with noodles, meat sauce, and mozzarella.
- Bake: Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake another 20–25 minutes, until golden and bubbling. Let rest for 10–15 minutes before slicing and serving.
