Mexican Wedding Cakes
INGREDIENTS
• 1 cup soft Butter
• ½ cup Granulated Sugar
• ½ tsp. Salt
• 2 tsp. Vanilla Extract
• 2 cups sifted Flour
• 1 cup Chopped Walnuts, Pecans or Bazil Nuts
• Powdered Sugar for coating
DIRECTIONS
1. In a mixer, cream the butter and sugar then add the vanilla extract and salt.
2. Slowly add the sifted flour and then the nuts, combining well.
3. Roll the dough into 1” balls and place on a parchment lined baking sheet 2” apart.
4. Bake at 325°F for 10-12 minutes.
5. Roll the baked cookie balls in the powdered sugar WHILE STILL WARM.
NOTES
- Makes 4 to 5 dozen.
