Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
- ½ tsp. Baking Soda
- ½ tsp. Salt
- ½ cup Softened Butter
- 1/3 cup Sugar
- 2/3 cup Brown Sugar
- 2 tsp. Vanilla Extract
- 1 Large Egg
- 1-1/2 cup Rolled Oats
- 1 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
DIRECTIONS
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour and baking soda and set aside.
- Using a mixer, combine the butter and both sugars and beat at medium speed until light and fluffy.
- Reduce speed and add salt, vanilla and egg and beat until well blended.
- Add flour and mix until almost combined.
- Stir in the oats and chocolate chips.
- Chill the dough in the refrigerator for 1 hour to overnight.
- Pre-heat oven to 350ºF
- Drop 2-teaspoon (35gr) sized ball of dough 2” apart on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake until golden brown around the edges but still soft in center, about 8-10 minutes.
- Remove from oven and let cool for 2 minutes before moving to cooling rack.
