Cabbage Steaks

INGREDIENTS

  •  1 large head of cabbage with tight leaves
  • 2 Tbsp. Olive Oil
  • Garlic Powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Black Pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS

  1. Pre-heat oven to 400ºF
  2. Rinse and pat dry cabbage, cut off the stem and cut into 1-inch slices
  3. Place slices on a baking sheet and brush with olive oil
  4. Season to taste with Garlic Powder, Salt and Pepper
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes flipping once halfway through

NOTES

  • Try adding other seasonings like minced fresh garlic, parsley, oregano, smoked paprika or drizzle with lemon juice or balsamic vinegar after baking.
  • Goes well with just about anything. Try it with pasta or on a bed of rice with grilled chicken, pork or fish.
