Cabbage Steaks
INGREDIENTS
- 1 large head of cabbage with tight leaves
- 2 Tbsp. Olive Oil
- Garlic Powder
- Salt to taste
- Black Pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS
- Pre-heat oven to 400ºF
- Rinse and pat dry cabbage, cut off the stem and cut into 1-inch slices
- Place slices on a baking sheet and brush with olive oil
- Season to taste with Garlic Powder, Salt and Pepper
- Bake for 25-30 minutes flipping once halfway through
NOTES
- Try adding other seasonings like minced fresh garlic, parsley, oregano, smoked paprika or drizzle with lemon juice or balsamic vinegar after baking.
- Goes well with just about anything. Try it with pasta or on a bed of rice with grilled chicken, pork or fish.
