Cheesy Beef & Bowties in Garlic Butter

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1 lb. Bowtie Pasta (or another fun shape)
  2. 1 lb. ground beef
  3.  3 Tbsp. butter
  4. 4 garlic cloves, minced
  5. ½ cup heavy cream
  6. 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated
  7. ½ cup parmesan cheese, grated
  8. salt and pepper to taste
  9. ½ tsp. garlic powder
  10. ½ cup fresh parsley, chopped

DIRECTIONS

  • Cook the pasta, al dente in a pot of salted water. Reserve ½ cup of the pasta water for later.
  • In a large skillet over medium high heat brown the ground beef breaking it up as it cooks. Drain the fat and set aside.
  • Add the butter to the skillet and melt, then add the minced garlic and sauté for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
